Hey AfriExpats!

Did you know over 71,000 Nigerians have become Canadian citizens in the past 19 years? That's right! From 2001 to 2020, many of our fellow countrymen and women have leaped the Great White North.

Canada's welcoming immigration policies, quality of life, and opportunities have made it a top destination for Nigerians seeking a fresh start.

Nigeria is right up there with countries like India, the Philippines, and China in terms of new Canadian citizens.

Of course! Here's the breakdown of new Canadian citizens by country of birth from 2005 to 2024:

1.**India**: 536,279
2. **Philippines**: 395,694
3. **China**: 292,325
4. **Pakistan**: 180,999
5. **Iran**: 130,998
6. **USA**: 99,652
7. **UK**: 98,837
8. **Syria**: 72,706
9. **South Korea**: 71,939
10. **Nigeria**: 71,459

It's fascinating to see how diverse the new Canadian population is! Let's discuss what makes Canada a magnet for people from these countries.

Let's discuss it!

1. Please how do I create an express entry profile after study permit refusal. Is there going to be a question or code in relation to my previous ircc study permit application while creating the profile.
2. Can i create the profile before my Wes evaluation result is out since I already know it's two or more certificate as seen in my friend's evaluation report.

You must complete your WES evaluation before creating an express entry profile. IRCC ALREADY has your previous refusal in their database... And yes, they will ask you a question regarding previous refusals
