What NOC code is best to choose for a bank teller in Express Entry?

(2581 Views)

Please i have been very confused regarding the NOC title or code to use for someone that has years of experience working as a bank teller. I initially checked on the Canada website and the option given to me is Customer Service Representative - Financial institution but my question is
1. Is this NOC eligible for express entry ?
2. Even if eligible I have worked at the
bank as an outsourced staff , when
getting my documents(references
/recommendation)is it okay to
get from my employer as I'm not a
direct staff of the bank or I can get
from my supervisor who is a staff of
the bank ?

Would really appreciate a response to this. Thanks in advance 🙏

A good trick to choosing NOC code is that it should describe most (if not all) of the roles that you perform while working that job. If it does, then you're good to go.

To answer your other questions...
1. Yes... The Customer Service Representative - Financial institution is acceptable in Express Entry.

2.Yes.. You can get get references from
from your supervisor who is a staff of the bank... and they should write the reference on the bank letter head paper with official stamp.
